I’m having a minor issue with setting up a transaction through a pot as a repeating payment. I’ve got a couple of transactions in the last few days for £8.50 via PayPal to the same payee and for the same services; there is one from Monday 29/9/25, and one Wednesday 1/10/25. The Monday is a regular transaction I would like to account for (and the Wednesday a one-off), and so open that transaction and toggle ‘repeating payment’, and select weekly.
However, there seems to be a little confusion in the system, because it then enters repeating payments as every Wednesday instead - I’m assuming since the last matching transaction is on that date, despite my having selected a previous one to ensure the weekday is correct.
I’m aware the simple solution will simply be to wait until I make a payment on the correct day and set it up then (since I didn’t make one this most recent Monday), but thought it worth flagging this odd behaviour.
