Set up payment in advance

I’m going to need to send a fairly large sum of money to pay for a car. Is there anyway I can pre-set up the payment to make sure it goes through quickly and smoothly on the day of handover?

Yes: transfer it to your own account with another bank, then handle it from there.

If you search help it there for you, see screenshot below, the process has apparently been made better, so in theory you shouldn’t come across any issues
