Separate authorization and posted charge, actual charge doesn't have detailed merchant data

I’d been meaning to mention this earlier, but there’s an issue I’ve noticed while traveling in Asia. Sometimes when I use public transit, whether it’s a contactless payment or a top-up, I’ll see an authorization show up, and the merchant data looks fine. However, the actual charge will sometimes post separately, and when it does the merchant data isn’t “enhanced” anymore. No logo, no category, and I’m not given the option to improve the merchant data like I am with other card transactions. What’s happening, and is it something that will be fixed later?
