Well yeah I know but I do use credit cards but aleays pay in full or as near as dammit which I think is a good way to go.

Doesn’t really make sense, though does it? If both are eligible to hold Monzo accounts on their own what possible additional risk does Monzo take on by them holding a joint account?

Maybe if they both applied right now they wouldn’t be accepted though.
It’s all speculation, we’re never going to know what the criteria is and for good reason.
All you can do is wait or go elsewhere.
