Scheduled payment warning will be overdrawn

I setup a scheduled payment to occur on the 1st of every month, starting from the next month.

I had a warning I’d be overdrawn by setting up the scheduled payment, however it was future dated (by about 3 weeks) so I shouldn’t have received a warning. My balance happened to be under the regular transfer amount, so had it been paid immediately, yes, I would have been overdrawn.

I think the warning shouldn’t appear if the payment is future dated.

Is this the first month of using Monzo? If so, it’ll take a monthly cycle or two for Monzo to figure out what’s coming in & going out.

Hey @davidwalton , no I’ve been with Monzo for years. It just seems a counterintuitive message as no payment is taken as a result of setting up the future dates scheduled payment. Thanks.
