I did get £150 cashback I forgot about so that’s about the only plus.
It also shows a DD coming out tomorrow, I didn’t realise it shows upcoming DD’s.
Did for me at least!

Santander switch their systems to the next day at around 20:30/21:30 the evening before (depending on GMT/BST)
I’ll have a gander next month around that time.
Whilst this is a bit confusing.
The edge credit card is available to everyday current account holders. You don’t need the edge current account for it.
The saver you do, though.

Just open an additional Edge account but don’t add any direct debits - you can open the saver for free then as they won’t ever take the account fee until you have live DDs

The £3 fee will be the first item on your first statement and on the same day of the month thereafter.
For me that’s the 13th of the month, but statements are produced on the 3rd.

Mine happpened quickly if I remember quickly. The fee free abroad takes up to 3 days to activate but everything else was quick. The £3 fee should be on the day it was opened.

My £3 account fee is added on the 8th of the month, statement produced 26th of the month.
Just for comparison.
I have no DDs attached to my Santander Edge current account and no major deposit, so don’t trigger their T&Cs for current account monthly fee.
Bear in mind that once account fee activated, it will continue to be charged, even if you remove any DDs from the account or don’t make the minimum monthly deposit!

Anyone happen to know if Santander hard search existing customers when opening new current accounts?
A hard search appeared on my Trans Union record when I did.

What error are you seeing? I’ve previously set up a standing order that’s over what I have in my account.
Edit: just tried and quite right. I don’t know if this is new though; I’ve definitely done it but it might have been on the website ages ago.

Anyone not had their Cashback for Santander Edge Up Account come in from December?
I still have nothing from paying my bills or Supermarket or travel spending.
What day do you normally get your cashback?
After the statement comes out.
I got mine last on December 12th. Would expect it this week for December for me.
Just been accepted for a Santander credit card. I don’t have any active accounts with them (and have moved house since the last one was closed) but can still log in with my existing ID. Does it matter that they’ve sent me a new customer ID?
