Hey folks. I’m trying to set up Salary Sorter for both our incomes, but with an interesting wrinkle: we both work for (and are paid by) the same company, on the same day each month.
I gather Salary Sorter works off the name of the person sending the money, as when I tried to set this up last month it got confused.
My current idea for a workaround is to have one salary paid into a personal account, and the other into a joint.
Before I do that, can anyone confirm if you can sort from a personal account into joint pots?
Me and my partner don’t work for the same company, but we have found that having the salary paid into our own personal accounts, and then sorting across personal and joint account pots works better for us.
You can sort into your own personal pots, and the joint pots. And you can also sort money from your personal account into your partner’s personal account (but not their pots) using salary sorter as well.
