I believe my iPhone just vibrated once I paid by RBS in Apple Pay.
Will test again later but there was nothing else come through.

Just tested by sending a bank transfer and the notification did indeed make a noise/vibrate!!!

Forgot my pin for credit card , so was kicking about Tesco doing the biometric approval face scan thing to see pin in the app. Wife thought I was taking selfies. Understand it’s for security but such a pain when every other bank is happy with a fingerprint.
Also a shame that RBS doesn’t feel very scottish anymore. Was on the website earlier and who knows if they landscapes are even from here. 
At least BOS have something on their card designs.
Do you think they should hire a Scottish comedian for their ads too? Frankie Boyle perhaps?
For a while our neighbours (in London) were appearing in the photos on the RBS website. Can confirm they aren’t Scottish.
Not Frankie Boyle. He’s an arsehole. Maybe someone such as Billy Connolly or Kevin bridges instead.

I don’t mind the face scanning but I absolutely hate that they leave the mugshot they’ve just taken on the screen while it loads

Yep had that in Tesco. My face hanging there for a few mins as I hardly had a signal.
I just wish more banks used images on their cards like BOS. With nice photos included, rather than the RBS sheds, they can look really nice.
And you’re not wrong. You could cover up Scotland in the brand name and likely wouldn’t be able to tell the bank had anything to do with Scotland. Definitely due to NatWest bringing RBS closer in alignment with much fewer differences between the brands

Closed my RBS credit card yesterday afternoon via the app. Has disappeared from the app already.
Why can’t BOS be the same rather than showing for 4 months.

On NatWest I’ve got what you have, plus “Current accounts”. However, I am missing your credit report bit.
I don’t think you can get the credit report until you’re 18.

You can request statutory reports from 16. I used to do this but they arrive in the post.
Yes, but the credit report runs a soft credit check and I don’t think they’re allowed to do that before you’re 18.
App is back to normal after today’s update.
Freeze or unfreeze international payments is a new addition.
