I found it now – it’s not under the headline boxes but does say it further down.
Weird how it says you NEED to set up a standing order between your RBS account and DRS, when I have been paying in directly with a SO/RP from Monzo, direct to my RBS DRS, without an RBS SO, for as long as I can remember the saver being open
I’m still not the biggest fan that in the My Rewards you can only take the money out when it gets to £5!!!
Did you receive a large shipment of exclamation points this morning?
I think £5 is fine – that’s one month’s worth.
the black one and yeah it has weird black pattern on a black card. Interesting when I went to add it to Apple Pay inside the app it showed the dark ‘shed’ but inside Apple Wallet it is the same design as the card.
Thanks so much for pointing that out - just swept over a couple of chunky rewards balances on our accounts as getting the cash interest is better than the 2% M&S I normally swap them for
Has anyone dealt with RBS’s Bereavement team before?
How did the process go for you?
I’m completely confused at the moment with our case; one moment I’m being told via letter they’ve received all the documents and they’ll finalise it and next minute they haven’t and when I email them in I get confirmation they’ve received it and a good 14 days after they can’t find my email or anything
Sorry for your loss.
Not had to deal with RBS. Might be worth just taking everything in to a NatWest branch if you have one and deal with it face to face.
That’s what I did with Lloyds and Nationwide and all dealt with fairly quick.
Sorry for your loss Ashton
Does anyone know if RBS Private is still going?
The same for NatWest Private?
Had a cheque from a business associate today and it stated RBS private.
I asked when banking it at Coutts but they were unaware.
Wasn’t RBS private rebadged as RBS Premier?
I seem to remember that RBS & Natwest Private was rebranded as Premier
Premier is the low net wealth version, the high net worth is of course Coutts or Adam & Co
I’ve had a little “New” icon on my profile picture for the last week or so. I thought it was the voice biometrics but setting that up didn’t make it go away. I’ve now been through every menu at least twice and can’t figure it out and I’m starting to get annoyed by it.
It’s fairly common with connected regular savers, but the only bank who actually enforces it is First Direct (who set up and manage the regular saver on your behalf, bizarrely). Santander don’t provide BACS details for their regular saver but it’s still possible to delete the standing order and transfer manually.
See also ‘deposit between the 1st and 25th each month’ type conditions; there’s no problem if you transfer on the 26th-31st but it’s on you if the money doesn’t reach your account by the calendar month’s end.
Just checked and I have it too. There was also a ‘new’ on the Insights tab but that has cleared after selecting it - profile ‘new’ is still there.
I just made a rare visit to my Ulster Bank app. Is there any benefit to the ‘travel card’ that I’m missing?
For comparison, I’ll use Monzo abroad and also have Revolut and Starling accounts available.
Nope, you send money to it, and then spend it.
Hi, wondering if someone could offer some advice. For a Premier accounts where you are qualifying through £120k joint income, how strict are they on having salary paid directly into the account? Or more precisely (not that I think it will make a difference) only having one of the salaries paid directly in. I’d be happy to set mine up, but I don’t expect my wife would. Thanks
I’ve got to visit a branch in NI to close my account:rofl:.
Thank goodness for CASS.
