Not really. The amount of kiddos that end up with CIFAS markers is insane.
Santander are willing to let your kiddo dance with the devil as are LBG brands. Which, include Bank of Scotland.

Must be something to control that, like being able to pay parents that opened the account with them.
Trying to find a way for my son to transfer monies back if needed. Workarounds on a plate except cash or branch.

Nope. If you can convince a branch to set you up as a payee, as opposed to just making a single payment. That’ll work. Since the online banking website technically doesn’t restrict existing payees, BUT it’s up to them and if they understand that distinction.
Most other banks excluding those I mentioned have the same restrictions for Under 16s.
It’s your son’s account, not yours. (That’s an important distinction between the Resolve and Rooster offerings!)
I understand that but with money management comes “Make a payment” I didn’t mean control the account but control who they can make a payment too, if they are restricting not being able to make a payment this is a core function of “his” bank account
For example;
Child will earn monies by doing chores
Child receives monies at end of month
Works out what is needed to be paid ie we pay Xbox and Phone contract so he then pays us back via bank transfer, this shows he’s earnt the money, managed it in his account, learnt what he needs to do to earn more, responsibility of making a payment on time.
I guess the solution is “get parents added as payees”.
That is if the Travel Account tile even shows for you

He can pay XBOX via the card and Phone via direct debit. I know it says you can’t have a DD but you can. Thus resolving the issue
SIM card is under my account to get the multi-sim discounts.
You can have the carrier split the direct debit. Talkmobile do this for my brother.
