Reviving this topic to first of all, pledge my support for the idea, and second of all suggest that is could be used for a more frictionless method of confirming transactions that I outlined here in another thread:
These could also be used as a quick way to respond to payment requests, or to say thanks. Or deep links to in app actions for a transaction like category splitting, os salary sorting. Or to accept the get paid early notification so you can receive your salary without needing to open the app. There are probably countless other ways these could be used to reduce friction, screen time, and time spent in the Monzo app.
I’m surprised this idea had very little discourse back when it was posted, because I think it’s a great feature request and I would love to see them do something with rich notifications.
