Did you have both the data eSIM and mobile eSIM installed?

That first screenshot looks worded in such a way that it refers to the data one. It is confusing though…

What a mess :man_facepalming:

I’m sure it will get sorted, in time for it to be ready for us

If the carrier is Vodafone though, I won’t be using it. I once used a MVNO on Vodafone here and it was next to useless

It reads fine, just doesn’t function like the wording states.

The data sims don’t come with a number.

This is why I am very skeptical of eSIMs regardless of providers.

I mean you don’t need to be with the main mobile operators. If I lost my EE eSIM somehow I could just walk in a store 7 days a week and get a new SIM card.

I agree with this. I have been using Voxi for a while now and I love them. I do like knowing that I can watch and listen to as much as a like and never run out of data

Mozillion is a mess for eSIMs. Need to pay £3 for a new one each time you change phone. Which I do a lot. :joy:

I didn’t have to pay it once when I said I had to restore my device and lost all sims

I think it may be when I’ve asked to swap from physical to eSIM a few times then.

Did you lose your main number or was it just a temp number to test it? They need to sort that out!

Only a temp, it’s too new to wanna try it that much :joy:

I’ve bought out of my contract, I really want to port my number over fully! I’m fine with the eSIM (it’s my preference) but all this about losing numbers and impossible recovery is really off-putting…

lebara is a good deal, the links on hotukdeals still work for the high data low cost, but the deal is usually a bit more expensive.

Am i the only one who seems to not being offered this new sim?

I can’t find any mention of it in the Revolut App on the latest update.

Revolut dont like me it seems

It’s a waitlist drop first

Oooooo sorry. That would make sense

See, I’m just looking at Revolut mostly for the USA roaming. It all seems a decent price, and I’ve got Rev Points to spend on it too.

Right now I’m on a Tesco Mobile staff deal (£10 a month unlimited everything, including EU roaming), but the Lebara deals do seem decent too.

Three PAYG sims offer USA roaming, allowance depending on package.

In a recent Russian interview Revolut’s founder literally said he doesn’t care the product is broken as long as they are the first to introduce it!

Not sure if that’s what one wants from their bank…

Monzo have launched many broken things hoping they just fix over time.

It doesn’t matter which company does it, unless they are labelled at beta and maybe be broken, launching product that are broken is really poor.
