Where are the cheque books and click clack machine crowd?
Monzo branded cheque books.
I would be up for that
Monzo app working ok for Ireland users (at least me anyway)
The last outage reported here, also affected us and we got the stand-in bank or whatever they called it. It’s where I found out my IBAN, they hadn’t yet released them to early users but the stand-in bank exposed the details ![]()
Well, I mean, the app is technically working, as it’s on the backup! Hopefully the full app will be back up soon
Yeah, I meant the full app (not backup) is working, should have been more clear there ![]()
Ah, interesting
Actually prefer the basic Monzo version! Way less razzmatazz ![]()
I don’t mind that card in the corner.
Who updates this? I probably wouldn’t go as far as to say everything is “Operational” ![]()
I mean, you can still see your balance so that’s as good as “Operational” goes…
issues with phone lines (according to service status), so they’re only supporting via email right now… that can’t be good.
Also how can they say chat is operational. You can’t use it.
managed to buy tickets for a football match fine via Monzo, so it’s not affecting card payments
Maybe a middle ground between Operational and Down ![]()
Chats aren’t operational
I made two transactions at Tesco just no notification.
- marked safe from the great monzo meltdown
I’m sure you’ll find out.
The big 3 cloud providers, AWS, Azure and Google dont seem to be having a mass issue right now so I am curious whats affecting so much.
We’re rolling out a fix and moving quickly to get full service back up and running for everyone.
AWS introduced a new Availability Zone in eu-west-2 (London) earlier today. Usually, they communicate this well to people but they did so without any kind of notification and didn’t update half their documentation. It’s possible if there’s Monzo infrastructure that relies on there being three AZs as opposed to four, it’s caused a problem. Although that’s pure speculation on my part.
But also, it’s almost certainly DNS ![]()
