Is more with computers and printers , they actually stay on somewhat when powered off but plugged in.

Unless it’s a fancy router there’s no need to unplug.

It’s a problem with the app somewhere I’d say as it comes up on the forum from time to time.

If you unplug the internet from the router most devices will say ‘connected, no internet’ and the phone should default back to mobile data, but that could depend where the fault with the internet is , if it’s in a data center then your phone won’t necessarily realise that the router isn’t providing internet as it can get ‘past’ the router.

Going back to before, the internet probably went down or very slow for a minute and a bug in the app is causing these issues.
