Trying to activate pin. Wont accept back of license picture so therefore cant proceed to get pin. Any advice? Quite urgent as needing income to be paid into it asap.
What pin? Activate what? What are you trying to do?
All im thinking is the debit card PIN, that’s the only PIN on the Monzo account you can get. Or it could be his operating system passcode or something.
You don’t need your card pin for income to be paid into your bank account! If they say they need something is majorly wrong
I’ve not had an issue with it, accepting my license as proof of my identity before, So I’m not sure what’s going on there. Perhaps the photo is not clear enough

I understand the concept here now.
OP is trying to use a driving licence to get his PIN reminder so he can “add salary”.
You don’t even need a PIN for that so something here seems a bit off.

Only thing I can think of is, perhaps they want to withdraw their salary from their account. The minute they get it via a cash machine and to do that they need their pin number.
Cash Machines that accept, Apple Pay are however, They don’t exist in UK sadly

I’ve seen one cash machine in the West Midlands with contactless support but it was a Llyods Bank cash machine.

Apparently your bank has to “support” it, I wonder how much effort that would be for Monzo? If any at all

Not very likely. Although it would be way more secure and since you’ve used biometrics to verify your identity already (especially if you’re using an iPhone).

Barclays just stopped supporting it apparently. But anyway it needs some sort of in-app verification which the OP is struggling with for Monzo so it wouldn’t help this sort of situation

No, it wouldn’t, but from what I gathered he had his account open, but needs verification done for the pin reminder for his card, which isn’t needed to get paid into his active account

That provider seems a bit sketchy if being asked for a PIN.
