It would be nice if I could share my perks in some way. For example, I mainly work from home so don’t make a lot of use of my free Greggs perk but my partner works in town where there are a lot of Greggs. It would be nice if I could send him the perk so it gets used (currently I’ve only used it once in the past 2 months).
There are a few ways this could be implemented.
Ability to share with someone you hold a joint account with. This is fairly limiting so you couldn’t abuse the perks.
Share with any contact (same as splitting a bill with a registered user). This is less limiting and great for people who don’t have joint accounts.
Share with a nominated person. Select a registered user, you can only share with them. The nominated user can only be changed once a month. This feels like a sweet spot as you would limit the users which would prevent abuse of perks while not requiring a joint account.
I wouldn’t suggest it’s like they get all the perks as they’re not paying for them. It would just be the ability to share the “Partner Perks” on demand (i.e you have to share them each time, not the shared user gets autonomous access)
The generated QR code works only once in a 7-day period, meaning you can pass it (screenshot / camera shot) to anyone you want and so long as they use it in that period they’ll get the chosen (you choose before the QR code is generated) Greggs freebie.

I don’t have Perks, but I was under the impression the Greggs perk was just a QR code. I’ve definitely seen them shared online in the past.
It’s a weekly cycle - the generated code remains the same until midnight on Sunday. Then you can generate a new one on Monday, which lasts 7 days (or until used), and so on…
Some workers at Greggs retailers have refused my code and have stated that they can’t accept screenshots, and have to see it within the app. Which was news to me!
