This has been reported elsewhere recently:
Basically you’ll need to send them via an alternative method for now as messenger is corrupting links.
No the share function works.
It’s because the silly messages system thinks it’s a malware/tracking/scam link. This is most likely due to it having payment/requesting money so it automatically filters it out.
