Payment from my card and received no help from Monzo

A payment was made on my card in a different part of the country, I reported it to Monzo who said they couldn’t do anything and rejected my claim, is this normal practice?

It’s normal practice if they don’t think you’re telling the truth, yes.

The location in the app can’t be relied upon, just because it’s a location not near you, that could be head office or another branch of anything else.

If Monzo have said they are not paying you back, that means they think you made the transaction.

Are you sure it wasn’t you? Tap in to the transaction and scroll to the very bottom, that will give you the details of what it says, incase it’s different to what is showing at the top.
