Can anybody tell me if Monzo has any plans to make an agreement with Post Office Counters, to except cheques over the counter as they do cash payments, as this would stop the need to post.
And due to limitations on imaging on the app, fixed @£500

Post office costs a lot of money, there’s no indication as yet. They could easily just increase the limit in the app.
I understand this limit is due to a few factors, no physical branches and limited resources to do security checks, also limits any large fraud that may happen with large amounts.
But it would be great if this would happen, I would be happy to fay a fee for this service
Open a HSBC current account (just a soft check via the app) and then you can deposit £2k in-app, or more than that at a post office.
Better still, open a Lloyds account and you can pay cheques in up to £10,000 through the app.
Does this work with savings? Could one just open a Lloyds saver online and then deposit cheques in-app that way?
Yes it does, in-app I can deposit up to £10k into my Easy Saver.
Too many people are getting £10k+ cheques ![]()
