I have some feedback on the experience of paying Monzo Business Invoices directly from a Monzo personal account. As a regular user who pays a monthly invoice to my cleaner through Monzo, I’ve found the process to be unexpectedly cumbersome, particularly because both the invoicing and paying accounts are within the same banking system.
Here’s a breakdown of the current steps: I receive the invoice, choose to pay, select the option to pay from my Monzo account, and then I am required to manually enter my email and account/sort code before finally approving the payment in the app. This level of redundancy is not only time-consuming but also detracts from the seamless user experience I’ve come to expect from Monzo.
To enhance this process, I propose the following improvements:
- Direct Payment Integration: Enable payments directly through a tap or click from the notification or the email link, bypassing unnecessary steps.
- Auto-Fill Account Details: Automatically populate account details when paying from a Monzo account, minimizing manual input and reducing the risk of errors.
