Mostly personal preference if you want a gloss or matt finish etc.

If you’re painting a bathroom or kitchen make sure you go for the one designed for those rooms as it’s better with moisture.

Spray Paint

Definitely not Microsoft Paint.

Just go with regular white emulsion as a base for walls and then apply whatever colour you chose on top.

I’m only ever allowed to say Johnstone’s Trade Paint (because the Mrs. works for Johnstone’s Decorating Centre). Unfortunately, you’ve just missed ‘Bonanza Sale’ week.

Or, if not Johnstone’s, “not retail :poop:” as she would say. Trade paint is more expensive but much better quality.

Don’t buy Johnstone’s (or any other paint) for £3 at B&M. You get what you pay for.

Until a few years ago, I didn’t know there were so many different kinds of paint but there’s so many!

Dulux paint is my favourite as I have a mixing station not far from me.
