13th December was the first day I paid in!
So Monzo staff were the beta testers by the sounds of it.
All that time and you didn’t tell us!
Who is this new secretive Dan and what happened to looselippedDan!
They didn’t test it quick enough
We usually test things internally for bugs etc before launching to the public!
I just try and avoid topics discussing new things because as @Revels alluded to above, I’ve been known in the past to accidentally ruin a carefully planned launch strategy…
Flaggable content that is
(Joking, on case it wasn’t clear). And yes, you’re right. Although I should be better considering I’m doing an Alevel in it haha. I don’t want to take this off track though and get the flagger back here.
I do just wish Monzo had had this ready for the 1st. Would’ve saved so many questions on here
Out of interest are you and the other staff eligible for the prize draws as well?
Spill the beans!
What other projects can you not tell us about? wink
I’m not sure whether I can comment on that, but I won’t be winning anything!
I mean that would be off-topic… I’m pretty sure there’s a secret plan to fight inflation tho.
Monzo plushies invading 10 downing street?
Not quite hot coral plushies, AI clearly isn’t there yet but that front one looks like a rather deflated Pokemon
That’s definitely charmander.
I just watched that episode… Top three favorite shows of all time, but a bit depressing to watch at the moment… (Trying hard to not compare it to the real world)
Charmander for PM perhaps?
Wonder how many pennies Charmander has saved in their pot
Hopefully they don’t all have to catch up.
Suppose we know who created the burnt coral card now
Offsetting it Dec to Dec instead would have meant people got the money for Christmas which would have helped lots of people
Equally, January is pretty tough.
Most are skint, have overspent in December, and it is seemily the longest month of the year until payday.
A mid month boost wood be nice.
Kudos to Monzo for coming up with T&Cs that cover all possible ways for any users to work around the rules on interest. It actually finally got me into subscribing to Perks. Works out about £25 for me to join in the £10k lucky draw. I’m too lazy to try out other fintech to compare, but having all of my spendings visible in 1 view is already worth a subscription.
The built in challenge does look great, my only pet peeve is it doesn’t let you choose to do the challenge in reverse.
