I didn’t realise I had to “opt in” to the saving session scheme again this winter, so I missed out on the first few sessions.
I opted in back in a couple of weeks ago though, and now Home Assistant automatically joins the sessions for me.

- If I didn’t see the comments here, I’d only know about the saving sessions when I’d completed them!
Saving Session (at least for North West) 2 nights in a row. Tonight at 6-7pm.
We are relatively low users overall so don’t actually save much during these sessions, but still do what we can to help the grid.
Another saving session today.
Same as yesterday. 6pm - 7pm, 104 points/kwh saved.

I’ve been getting the email notifications a few hours after I see the post here, so I guess they’re staggering them - previously on some occasions I’d get the email then find that the servers would be very slow for opting in.
The API ones (which I presume is what Aydan uses) go out much earlier than the emails and at the same time. The app I use sends me a push notification shortly afterwards (usually after Aydan has already posted here). And then the emails always arrive an hour after that at around 1pm.
I do indeed, sometimes I get the email at the same time but very rare.

Yesterday’s email came through at 14:42, today’s was at 12:20.
Home Assistant checks every 15 minutes, so I was notified approx 11:45 today and yesterday.

Anyone else get a new direct debit set up recently?
Overnight I had the Monzo notification to say Octopus have set one up, the old one that I’d used for 2 years has disappeared 
still the same amount
