Not a lot of options out there besides sideloading the play store. Since the US Government blacklisted Huawei, If you are within your 14 day period perhaps return the phone for another manufacturer.
I don’t see why anyone would bother with Huawei.
Whether you trust Huawei or not - as so many things rely on Google service it would just be a major inconvenience at the very least.

It’s only newer models that are affected. If you get a new model, you will be impacted by the US ban.
Exactly I am running fine mate 20 pro huawei but that’s before the Google ban.
Why Monzo can’t add their app to Huawei Store?
Starling Bank app is available to download from official Huawei store for example…
I like their phones… Google apps is like a spyware nowadays
I’m not sure that they can’t. They just haven’t.
As to why they haven’t, I’d guess that the see no profit in developing an app for just a few phone models.
