New cashback offers and features notifications not working

Issue:
Not receiving cashback notifications when new offers are available and not receiving notifications about new features when they are available on the app.

Details to reproduce:
When a new cashback offer or feature is added to menus, not receiving notifications about them.

I have all notifications for this app enabled but the options in screenshot are the ones I am not receiving notifications. Unsure if this is intended but seems like a bug.

For example been using cashback for months and since it came out but never received one notification about anything new added. I have to keep checking the app to see if anything new has added.

I didn’t get them for a while, not had it today either. Seems hit and miss.

In addition to the notification setting in the app, do you have the notifications set for the app?

I’m a Pixel user, but the Galaxy can’t be much different:

Long press on the Monzo app icon → App info:

Tap on '‘Notifications’:

Tap on ‘All Monzo notifications’ to start with:

You can select/deselect individual ones later as desired, once you know the notifications are working - or not!

Definite bug. Rarely get them, but do sometimes.

Yes notifications are on for the app. Seems that others are definitely getting a similar experience.

I’ve also had the same issue with cashback notifications since it was implemented. I’ve tried checking all the permissions, removing them and adding them, uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I’ve given up, but it’s so frustrating where I’ve spent somewhere and I didn’t get it. Considering so few of the places I actually spend money in are ever on the list.

I’m also using a Samsung. Specifically S21 Ultra.
