Netflix amount change not notified

Legally merchants need to give notice of the change to the reoccurring card payment amount don’t they? :thinking:

Other than the obvious Spotify/NetFlix/Now, I wonder how many other widely used merchants with frustratingly no DD option there are? I have all those three and drives me nuts not having a DD option - I have no idea why. :face_with_raised_eyebrow: (might be because they have the card details stored in some flakey system ready to be hacked)

I mean you could add it to the list of things we would like, but being notified that the amount just taken was more than last month is probably way down the list as you will have had an email or txt with the change. :man_shrugging:

As you said, they need to give notice anyway and if the payment comes out more than usual than I’m going to see it and know it was more anyway when it says £x at Netflix :thinking:

This is no different to direct debits, but monzo notifies of the change once called. It should support regular card payments too.
