# Nested Categories

Now we’ve got custom categories and splitting transactions with plus (🎉 🎉 🎉), would be great to have nested categories.

While I’m now going to split food spend across multiple categories, e.g. takeaways, restaurants, supermarket, coffee etc, it would still be nice to also see how much I’ve spent on food/drink overall.

Similarly, booze spend I’m going to split across wine from supermarkets and drinks in bars/clubs etc, but would still value seeing that as one figure too.

Transport would work similarly etc etc etc.

Would definitely be a nice addition.

bump, I have always thought this would be a really helpful feature
