Bit of a random question, but does anyone know if it is easier to get Premier with one RBS group bank if you already have Premier with another? As in, if I am already a Natwest Premier customer and wanted an account with Ulster Bank for ‘reasons’, would Ulster Bank look at my Natwest finances to determine eligibility? Or are they treated as entirely separate entities?
Do you meet the Premier Requirements with Natwest for Savings, Salary or Investments?
Salary
Ulster is also £75K Salary but they are separate banks with ring-fenced finances between the two of them. But i’m sure if you proved your salary with pay stubs and NatWest statements that will give you a Ulster Private Account.
I may give that a try, I mostly just want access to their Loyalty Saver account - better rates than Monzo and without any of the fintech faff.
I don’t blame you at all. I was looking at opening a Ulster Bank Account for the Loyalty Saver also.
On a bit of a account opening spree at the moment so being careful.
Yeah I try to keep my finances as “simple” as possible, as I have the added fun of FBAR/IRS reporting…
I don’t understand why they don’t give the option of generating statements without pot movements, this already exists for business accounts. They might have to show the ISA account separately I suppose but it’s certainly not impossible to do.
Email today from NatWest saying reducing regular saver to 5.25% from 19 Jan.
