NatWest don’t round up in real time. It’s a legacy bank with overnight batch processing.
Few legacy banks can match the real time features that Starling and Monzo do.

2nd working day of Jan - I got excited as it will be my biggest interest lump of the year and checked first thing this morning, but then realised it’s tomorrow. I imagine it will be the same as NatWest / RBS digital savers in that it will be post dated today but appear the next day

That’s only new banks. Legacy banks will let you back generally.
Nothing you’ve told us warrants “TwatWest” every time you mention them. It’s very… Daily Star meets Twitter Karen style. We’re grown ups!
Especially if you insist on still using them. It makes no sense if they are that bad.

HSBC can be a bit sniffy, but mostly every other main bank I’ve closed and re-opened accounts many times over the years.

I’ve definitely opened and closed HSBC but agreed they can probably be the trickiest of the bunch.

Honestly if Natwest had an actual HYSA I doubt we’d ever have looked elsewhere (and found Monzo)… Though now that we’ve moved most of our daily stuff to Monzo I’m not sure we could go back to 100% Natwest even if they did open a proper HYSA - we’d miss the pots and app for sure.

I’ve had a NatWest account since I was 7, now 28.
It’s not my personal day to day but the household bills and mortgage etc go through it.
They’re solid, never had a problem really.

Can you change between the NatWest credit card types, or do you need to apply again?
Slightly random question. I’m not a natwest customer so can’t check myself. If you have a natwest current account can you open up a savings account in-app or is it paper forms / branch visit?
You can do it all from the app.

My credit card expires in 2 months. I’m going abroad next month around Asia for a while so asked NatWest to issue me a new card now, they’ve said my card will only be renewed closer to the date.
I believe ordering a new card or reporting it lost will keep the same expiry date.
How annoying!
