I shouldnāt imagine they would, given itās only been 2-3 years since their previous design.
I wish theyād consider something though - current group of cards look disgusting. I also donāt get the whole ābuilding society looks after its membersā when they still charge me fees abroad lol
I donāt even know who Nano is, for the record. I wasnāt on this forum (or looking at it before signing up) during that era.
I also donāt use my Nationwide for payments, so they donāt charge me anything. It was a critique of the fee structure.
They should charge you fees abroad so that we get the £100 fairer share payment
Didnāt you get it already? Iāve never paid fees to a bank, by the way. Wonāt start now
Edit: Actually, I have paid fees to a Korean bank due to using their ATMs when I went to some market once. So I guess I have paid about a pound to banks in my life.
When they first introduced cashpoints at motorway services I think I spent 50p taking out £20.
In Stansted last week they had a machine that for the small sum of £2.95 will give you your own money
What year was that in? I think by the time I was 16 I could pretty much just choose to boycott anywhere that didnāt take card and by 18-20 I was 95+% Apple Pay and mostly left my cards at home.
Even while abroad I try to avoid cash as much as possible - last time I took out cash was probably that 2024 trip to Korea.
Edit: When I was studying language abroad to avoid international transfers fees I just took out cash from the ATM, so I guess the last time I took out cash would have been last year (but I mean more generally for using cash rather than just avoiding transfers).
Or you could get the Virgin equivalent and pay nothing.
I can do better than that, my ICBC Credit Card pays 2% cashback on foreign spending and 0 FX fees on any currency Iād interact with
What year was that in?
A lady never divulges her ageā¦however given I had probably only Ā£30 in my account at the time, it would have been mid 2000s probably when my kids were young
