I seem to recall having an issue when I first opened an account. It started working the next day.
Mine worked the next day.
New online banking look is now starting to roll out.
New customers get it straight away and it’s starting to roll out to existing customers now too.
It’s still only really the current account page and statements. The rest is the old version.
I’ve started getting loads more merchant logos attached to payments and formatting of names. I’ve looked back at previous transactions and they have been added in retrospect too.
I’ve only ever seen the odd one or two but has expanded a lot this week.
The comments are giving worrying warning signs. ![]()

This happened to me with the same bank. Twice. Second time they paid us a couple of grand to apologise.
Not sure this one is from a former staff but if it was then boo to Nationwide, too.

Several years ago, while testing a dataset, I queried why two similar accounts had been merged. The colleague responsible was a recent graduate. Shortly after I raised the question, my manager arranged a meeting with unusual speed and issued my notice. His mother was working in HR.
If that last one means they got sacked for questioning the merge because the mother of the person worked in HR then that would be highly illegal and they’d have got a huge payout at a tribunal, so I would be surprised if that happened without repercussions.
Unfair dismissal protection isn’t available to staff under 2 years of service “several years ago", the rules only just changed recently.
No matter what I can’t get balances and transactions in Apple Wallet to stay connected. I’ve tried probably 20 times in the last 10 months and it just doesn’t work. ![]()
Delete the connection on Nationwide side (do not renew old one).
Then link again. That solved it for me.
Done that so many times I have 60 odd deleted open banking connections on nationwide ![]()
I’ve had an issue where transactions won’t load from Nationwide in the Lloyds app for months. Apple wallet is ok though. Not sure if it is a Nationwide issue or a Lloyds issue though
May as well close nationwide completely and move back to starling ![]()
Starling would be the bottom of my list lol
Where would be the top.
In the Lloyds app I had this with TSB and Natwest group accounts. Nationwide is linked properly.
I was going to open NatWest before I decided to CASS into Nationwide because they had a switch off on
Tried to add them one more time before I call it quits, let’s see how long until they disconnect this time
Starling are really good, I’ve been using them recently and the app is pretty good, clear and not cluttered.
They were my main account for 7 years, I’m not moving back lol
