I have moved a sum of money from an instant access general savings account and have been told that I need to wait 3 days for the money to arrive into my bank account. Where is this money, what happens to any interest for the money moved?
I’m guessing you didn’t read the terms or what you were signing up for.
Sounds like you opened a third party savings account which can take up to 3 days to credit, interest on moving out of your current savings account and into a new one, generally isn’t paid during transfer or for the transfer day if it happens the same day.
