More sensible overdraft use warnings

It must be possible to be more intelligent about comms to customers who are a couple of pounds into their overdraft. I’ve got messages and emails about can Monzo help as I’ve been in overdraft for 45 days…by £3! The interest payments were something like 5p.

By sending those messages for silly situations it makes them frivolous and easily ignored. Why not just mail ‘did you know you are a few pounds into overdraft for ages, have you noticed, and why not fix that quickly now’

It’s all part of regulation to inform customers they’re using lending more than is designed, so banks etc have to notify you and offer support.

You could just pay the £3 and not use the overdraft to avoid being told you’re using your overdraft.
