Monzo UK Banking Experience

I’ve been hearing a lot about Monzo UK lately and I’m thinking about trying it for everyday banking. The app features, budgeting tools, and instant notifications seem really useful compared to traditional banks.

For those who already use Monzo, how has your experience been so far? Is it good for saving money and managing daily expenses?

Welcome, I think you will get two very polarised opinions on this forum.

On the one hand if you come from a legacy bank Monzo are so far ahead in terms of how to organise your money, the spending notifications, the options they have, although a paid plan helps to make the most.

Others on here will argue that others offer more, better interest rates, nicer user interface etc.

So my advice would be to open an account and try it, if you find it’s not for you, no biggy

Honestly I’ve had no issues using Monzo day to day. I love the clean look and the paid features are great

if you’re a big movie go-er, you can book a £12 Vue cinema ticket for the £7 monthly you pay, don’t forget the free Greggs roll or coffee every week
