That’s a different problem to solve though. I made my displeasure clear at the MSE queue jumping link.

I expect the queue jump was being offered to the MSE readers a) to allow Monzo / MSE to track referrals from the site b) to generate a bit more excitement / urgency.

I still don’t think it’s fair on the users who queue but I take your point about this topic having an insignificant impact on the overall queue so I guess it’s pretty harmless

Just found another queue skipping URL, so really it does appear that queueing is a bit of a mugs game…

When I was looking into pre pay cards it only took me about 10 minutes to come across the MSE queue skip. I’d never even heard of Monzo at the time. I checked out other options but Monzo exceeded expectations so I applied via that link. Queueing was not an option at the time; I needed the card within a week.
I don’t see the MSE link as anything other than a golden ticket, which many of us have already given out multiple times. Is it fair? I believe so, as it’s open to (and rewards) anyone who does just a little research.
