I think it worth pointing out that if isn’t just salary.
A few other things use bacs so you can get them earlier too
I. E. I got a house deposit back a few days earlier which meant I could secure my next place faster than I would have been able to without Monzo

You’ll still get it at least a day earlier even if it means before the weekend.
eg, if are due to get paid on Tuesday, but the Monday is a bank holiday, you will get it on Friday. Believe @simonb (sorry if it was someone else) gave this example for Monzo staff.

I’m due to be paid tomorrow, so 4pm today with this new feature. My salary hasn’t appeared greyed out yet. Should I still expect to be able to get it at 4pm, or will it be tomorrow now? Thanks
Are you paid via BACS? If you don’t normally see your salary greyed out the day before, then you won’t have access to this feature.

Yeah, I’m paid by BACS, if I remember correctly it was greyed out last month, but not previously.
If it’s Bacs then it will show up in grey the day before.
If you tap one of the payments that wasn’t greyed out, does it say faster payments at the bottom? Bacs payments don’t have a details section half way down with reference and payment info
I’ve had the odd month where I didn’t get the greyed out pending BACS thing, still got the money as usual though. 
oh strange. I get 7+ bacs payments a month and they’ve always showed up the day before

I’ve just clicked on all of the transactions for my salary, nothinf about faster payments anywhere, and it says BACS on all of my payslips. Seems odd it hasn’t come up as grey yet. My pay day is definitely 22nd each month. I wouldn’t normally be too fussed, but it’s been a long month so would be satisfying to get back in the green.
Might be worth starting an in app chat to see if they can get to the bottom of it

In the past there have been issues related to the late processing or reception of BACS transaction lists.

I think as an investor this is great marketing and well done to the growth team. This is definitely something that will attract attention. I didn’t realise it was a chime feature.
I wonder how much this will boost Monzo through word of mouth as well as the recent boost from the TV campaign. Interesting to watch the growth stats.
Problems with iOS13? Can’t seem to drag the money into the wallet… biggest tease ever.
Same here. Also on iOS13. I even tried dragging perfectly along the line like a good little boy. Maybe a button at the bottom that drags the money in automatically would help?
