If you get Monzo Plus you can move money from Connected Accounts directly ---

I’ve Monzon Plus. But I top up Monzon accounts using the option of Easy Transfer I still have to go through a whole list of banks nothing to do with me and select the one I want to transfer from. This is a hassle, I would only expect this to happen first time I link with that bank account. ---

If you have Plus - as in the Plus that launched yesterday - from the home screen, tap on ‘Plus’ at the bottom and then tap on ‘Other accounts, in Monzo’ and setup your accounts to be ‘in-app’. This is a one-time setup process. In future, from ‘Home’, scroll right to go to the required external account and tap on ‘Move Money’ to move money to your intended Monzo account. ---

Great feature! Worked really smoothly with Nationwide, opening the app directly, aLowing next to use Face ID, a better experience than I expected. One question, is the only way I can get to it using the notification in the home page feed? I went looking in Payments \> Request but couldn’t find it. Thanks! ---

I haven’t got plus and it is there for me. I’m on Android Though if you have a new card coming, it might be why the to activate button is there ---

Hey @albertmonzo & team - loving this feature. One question, though. I have my Natwast account within Monzo and I can move money easy from it to Monzo using the tool. Is it just one way though? It would be awesome if you could make it two way there, eg move money to it, rather than having to go to the payee’s screen to do this. Is that something the tool could/might support? ---

I asked this question in the old long thread, it will be implemented to go both ways but to get it out for launch they had to strip it back to just the one way. The other way is coming soon though apparently 🙂 I got the answer because i said otherwise the button icon and ‘Move money’ is misleading. ---

Agreed, biggest gripe for me though was literally the icon and label text on the button. I just thought it was too misleading. I was happy to hear it’s on the cards ---

For me, NatWest has been showing as ‘Experiencing Connection Issues’ for several days. Could anyone confirm if it’s the same for them? I wouldn’t expect this to be done individually but just in case. I did start experiencing issues immediately after a problem with my NatWest app but, of course, that could be related to a NatWest issue. ---

**Easy bank transfers are now generally available!** We’ve now taken easy transfers out of Labs and made them available to all of our customers. I want to thank every person who’s tried out the feature and commented here for helping us to improve and build confidence in this feature - we couldn’t have done it without you! There are still some known problems, for example Natwest are currently disabled as we work through a problem on their side with them, but we’ll now be handling these issues as a full-fledged feature rather than as a Labs experiment. If you’re interested in what this means for the Open Banking team, fully releasing easy bank transfers frees us up to work on exciting new things - you may have noticed the Open Banking-ness of Connected Accounts in Monzo Plus, and in the short term we’re going to be supporting that feature. Hopefully resulting in more stable connections and prettier transactions! With any luck, I’ll have more to announce for you soon. But for now, it’s been great chatting and working with you all ❤ ---
