My thought is when my time is up, make my beneficiaries work for the money they’re gonna get. It’s not gonna stress me out :joy:

Santander is a joke and really making it hard to deal with, and I have had my own issues with the awful Halifax phone support

Sky (mobile & tv) is a pain to deal with aswell

It helps with death certificate and will, or letter of administration. Funeral invoice can be paid from the deceased if you have the cert and invoice for the directors.

I don’t think any of the “Monzo alumni startups” went particularly far, have they?

And another day, another tech founder going off to do AI. Great. I, for one, try to avoid any service (let alone a bank) using glorified autocomplete for customer service.

Title makes it sound like a shady thing, but it seems common amongst other startups to have a chance for employees to sell a part of their shares during a raise.

If everyone was allowed to sell, it’d be more or less an IPO really.
Curious when those will start to happen. There’s rumours, but those have always been around predicting an IPO in x time (usually a year or so).

I’m not hugely surprised. Despite being in the public domain, it was still a discussion about a former Monzo customer. I can see why they might want to remove the posts (and probably this one next).

Anyway, swiftly moving on…

I can’t :man_shrugging: It wasn’t painting Monzo in a bad light or anything. In the example I read, I actually applauded them for closing the customers account.

I removed the discussion as it was a decent enough deviation from the Topic and as @BenC highlighted we wouldn’t want to discuss a previous Monzo customer’s specific complaint and wanted to make sure we kept it nice and civil :smile:
