Based off @Rika’s recent tweet I’d say so :chart_with_upwards_trend:

Does this only increase when cards are activated?

Yep

This number will only increase slightly more than usual tomorrow, from the people that saw this promotion, signed up, and added to Apple Pay during signup.

The people who don’t opt-in to Apple Pay on signup won’t be reflected in this figure until they receive the cards, so we should see most of the effects of this probably next Monday/Tuesday.

So how close are we to the advertising campaign?

If Gove becomes PM then that will be perfect (YouGove, not Gove himself).

Pretty crazy that 2% of the UK population has a Monzo account, but only 11% of the UK have heard of Monzo. So almost two fifths of the people who have heard of Monzo have a Monzo account.

Investments are on their way!

The digital bank Monzo is in talks with fund giants BlackRock, Fidelity and Vanguard about offering cheap investment accounts in a plan dubbed “Hargreaves Lansdown for millennials”.

Let’s talk about that over here :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::

It’s quite short. No mention of Freetrade. It says that:

  • Monzo is aiming to launch low cost investment accounts later this year
  • No individual stocks but low cost funds
  • Part of the journey to becoming a financial control centre
  • Fees not known but expected to be lower than Hargreaves Lansdown, “the leading investment supermarket”.
