My wife has UK Monzo card, she spent almost 1 year in Russia (not Moscow), Monzo was accepted everywhere without any issues. But there were few problems with using Russian online markets or delivery services, i.e example she couldn’t pay online for food delivery in Delivery Club and few popular online shops like WildBerries rejected payments, although she received a message from Monzo to confirm the transaction.
Anyway, still a great experience using Monzo over there!
