Hi I’ve been trying to get urgent help on Monzo live chat but it looks like it’s frozen and there’s nothing I can do. I’ve tried closing it and starting again but it takes me back into the same screen again.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app as well?

In the meantime, if it is properly urgent, maybe you can try contacting them using the telephone number on the back of your card
Is your chat frozen or are you still waiting for a response? Can you type messages or navigate elsewhere in the app?
Also you mentioned that you closed the app and it took you back to the same screen again. This would indicate that you didn’t close the app but just minimised it.
To be certain that your app is closed, restart your phone and then open the app.
