**Issue:** I recently got a new phone and I transferred all my back up but when i opened the monzo app it didnt let me log in. After the magic link is sent to my phone it asked me my number and a code was sent to me via text however after that it always pops up with a message of error! Something has gone wrong. I have trued uninstalling and installing couple of time and trying again and also have deleted all the magic links i previously got but it still isnt letting me in. Double check you are definitely using the correct email address. It sounds like you’re going down the sign-up loop which would indicate you’re using the wrong email. ---

If it restored the app from a back up you will need to uninstall, restart the phone, reinstall, and go through the log in process. Edit: make sure you restart the phone too to clear the cache ---

You need to delete and reinstall the app due to issue with the backup Simon posted similar reply to someone else exact same issue ---

It is the right email as the email is that I use for monzo is my main email address ---

I seen couple of post with same issue and tried uninstalling and installing a couple of times but nothing has worked yet ---

If you call the number on the back of your card it will be the quickest way to get help Alternatively email [help@monzo.com](mailto:help@monzo.com) but that does tend to take longer ---

Try logging into your account here [web.monzo.com](http://web.monzo.com) If you can’t get in there either it’s most likely that you’re using the wrong email address or password.
