Hi, I have been using Monzo for 2 months and think it is fantastic, however the main reason why I will not switch to Monzo fully is currently my Halifax Ultimate Reward account offers the ability to pay a monthly admin fee with benefits such as Travel insurance, mobile insurance, car insurance and home emergency cover.
Hopefully this is something which Monzo can do in the coming months/years to come.
I highly doubt that they will go down that route.
I can see them doing it in a way that is marketplace compatible and gives us more choice, i.e. pay a fee and choose 3 benefits, like car/travel/mobile phone insurance, breakdown cover, airport lounges.
And each category would have several partners you could choose from.
I would certainly prefer that approach.
