Money not showing in account

Customer adamant money has left there account but not showing in my Monzo account,

The same day others have paid and it turned up instantly, been 3 days.

Anyone else had same problem?

This is nothing to do with Monzo. When they have the money, you’ll have the money. The money could be held up for fraud reasons by the sending bank.

Oooooor and most likely, the person hasn’t sent the money.

Business account or personal?

Either way, the sender either hasn’t sent it, or they need to call their bank and speak to their fraud teams to unblock the payment. HSBC usually make it look sent but it’s then held until the customer calls.

I’ve always had a text from HSBC when a payment has been withheld, although the last time it happened was when I had an Advance account a few years ago. I haven’t had anything withheld since having a Premier account.
