Mobile Networks

So my mobile contact has come up for renewal, with Vodafone and while the offers seem ok, the per year increase of £2.50 seems a bit steep.

Any good companies virtual networks that use Vodafone?

I think I’ll be switching away.

I use Voxi. Always seem pretty reasonable to me

Lebara uses the Vodafone network, no credit checks, now has eSIM, visual voicemail etc, and if you go through MSE you can get 10GB for £1.50 for the first 7 months then £5.90 thereafter.

50GB is £2.80 then £7.90.

Lots of other offers.

Free EU roaming.

If you can be bothered you can constantly get it for the cheaper price by porting your number to a three pay as you go sim for 24 hours then port back into a new plan.

Thank you, I’ll take a look at both of those

£5.50 x3 months plus £45 gift voucher. The old links used to work well off hotukdeals but they changed them.

I got cinema tickets from voxi. So used them for a date! Yes I’m cheap

No harm in that! I use my club Lloyds for date night.

Used my free voucher from work for Valentine’s Day, along with a movie, so it cost me £0 other than the card :joy:

I’ve been very happy with my £10 Voxi sim, no silly April price increases either

Wife is still getting 40gb for £5.25 via smarty since march 2024. I’ve recently rejoined smarty and getting 80gb for £10. They won’t let me get the same deal as my wife. wish I had never left them as it is what I was on.

Might actually move to talk mobile . £6.95 for 30gig

£7.95 for 50gb and £20 cash back via TopCashback. That’ll do

I signed up to this last night as an additional sim.

Does anyone know how long it takes for them to process as I’ve had no email confirmation or QR code.

They’ve charged my card though.

From my experience (I’ve had a few Lebara sims) if you chose physical sim then it’ll nearly always arrive the next working day if you ordered earlier in the day.

For an eSIM it’s usually in my inbox within the hour, as a PDF with an attached QR code for you to scan.

If you chose esim and have received no emails at all including the order confirmation then I’d check the junk folder and then contact them.

Ok thanks. I’ll wait until later on today and contact them. As there’s nothing in the junk/spam.

Just ordered the £2.80 deal and got email with e-sim straight away.

Interesting!

I can’t mind if I had issues with lebara emails previously using a gmail address. Last few times I’ve used outlook and no problems.

well this could throw a huge spanner in the works if I can’t receive their emails. I’m using an iCloud email account.

I contacted Lebara, they told me all new customers are experiencing issues due to a problem with their networking team. Clearly I’m being fobbed off. Not the best start.
