I am somewhere on the south east coast where only Vodafone and O2 have sensible signal in most places, and I am unfortunately tied to a 24 months Three contract though I have a back up Giffgaff line.
Hope they roll out this a bit quicker down here, it would do some justice to my battery as the drain and heating is worse in areas with no signal so I end up turning off the Three line with calls diverted to Giffgaff when unavailable.
Weird issue the other day.
Was using the standard apn for lebara uk.lebara.mobi whatever, crossed into Liverpool and my data refused to work what so ever, this went on for about an hour rebooting my phone etc.
Reset the apn to wap.vodafone.co.uk and everything worked seamlessly from then on.
Any reason why?
Something similar happens to me on Talk Home. Literally just ordered a Lebara sim to switch lol. I’ll keep that APN in mind though.
£1.10 for 100gb is a steal! Patched with a Lyca sim £5 for 5G (somehow boosted to 10GB) I’m happy with that mix.
For 7 months or so as well, it’s great. I’ll just switch again once that runs out.
EE has had a terrible service over the past few months. I’ve had constant call drops, no internet while on call, and poor coverage in most places. It’s the worst service I’ve ever had
Do you have a Samsung and did it start after you upgraded to oneui 7?
But I’ve noticed a significant degradation right where I live on a pixel.
I was with EE for two years till January 2025, I left for this every reason. From around March 2024 the network became so poor even when it showed full bars the internet was slow as a snail, I could miss calls and also had dropped calls but they kept claiming everything is good on their end. They asked me to upgrade my phone that it could be the problem, I was on the latest iPhone so they had nothing to upsell me.
Obviously depends on the area because EE’s great for me in Northamptonshire and West Yorkshire.
Same for me in Suffolk ee is the most reliable
