Weird… getting this for the first time. Might be new phone related, but I have checked that the app has access to my contacts (and I do have friends on Monzo)
I’d maybe wait till this evening and then try again.
With the heavy traffic from the crowdfunding it might just be a poor response from backend.
Are you looking to send money to a contact urgently?
Just checked and this is also the case for myself 
so im sure its a wider spread thing

No no, just noticed it whilst in the settings and changing the app icon to the investor version!
Glad to know i’m not the only one

I read somewhere that the call was disabled due to the Crowdfunding as its very expensive for the backend.
