and the rest.. this thread is older than 7 years let alone Monzo merchant data

Having said that, Monzo’s merchant data is the best of any banks and it’s not even close.. IMO

Revolut is much better now. I don’t understand why Monzo stopped improving merchant data…

Even Chase has some that neither Revolut or Monzo have :grimacing:

Starling also seem to have had a massive improvement in merchant data just lately

Obviously this thread is pretty old but I guess they were making updates sporadically for a while. Does anyone know when they last made any real updates to logos? I know that Patreon still has the old logo which changed in October 2023.

Feels like it’s the last couple of years that it’s completely stopped.

But they don’t have a logo for Lidl which is surprising as it’s now probably bigger than Morrisons.

Sounds like a low volume manual job so whoever’s on that duty might have moved on…

Definitely. I submitted a bunch on Friday and they are all updated today. Annoyingly they only let you use Facebook as a source which does limit your options with some smaller places that have no FB presence but it’s better than nothing.

Can you just use the “Facebook” text field to input other data?

Monzo used to ask for Twitter handles but if the company didn’t have one I would put their website or something in the field instead.

No, it only accepts a facebook.com URL. I’m sure they used to have Twitter and/or websites allowed previously but I’m guessing that by simplifying the process it’s allowed them to keep on top of updates.

I haven’t had a Facebook account for donkeys years and they’re pretty limiting on what you can view without signing in these days so this would be impossible for me.

I deleted my FB account years ago too but it’s dead easy, you literally just search Google for the name of the company and facebook or look on the official company site as there’s usually links off to all the social media platforms.

I really like how Emma handles corrections. They’re stored on your phone or account (I’m not sure) and updated instantly. This means all feature transactions will display your preferred logo
