I think for it to stay fun and as intended, it would have to be limited to only being allowed a max spend of a couple o quid per week…
Could do it as an incentive for savings like premium bonds or Halifax saver maybe

I think this “Lottery Pot” thing is a really good idea, assuming MONZO can get it past the regulators. Would be a great, non intrusive, way for MONZO to make money if they took a small percentage of the winnings and easy for MONZO to disable for under 18 accounts and Islamic accounts. MONZO could also include an option that allows people to disable the pot unless the user sends a message to customer support asking for the pot to be enabled.
This is a must though.

I would think to keep it low work, if the pot existed with that name that’s the opt in method and the opt out method would be to delete the pot, also you could only be included in the weekly draw if you had funds in tyhe pot, so no cash no play…
