Lost money

I had sufficient balance. I used Monzo for £5 online transaction. I was required to authorise but missed the approval. The funds debited but not credited online. What can I do

Scroll to the very bottom of the transaction, under where it says “Something wrong?” and in grey text, does it say “Pending”?

If it does, the money hasn’t actually gone yet. It’s just sort of in limbo. You’ll get it back in about a week usually, sometimes less. It depends when/if the merchant lets go of it sooner.
